What we wantThe Health Science Center (HSC) is looking for a Supervisor, Clinical Social Worker to serve as a member of the Psychiatry and Behavioral Health department.

This position is grant funded; future employment may be contingent upon future funding.

Required Education:
This position is for an individual holding a Master's Degree to fill a position for supervisor clinical social worker LCSW-S.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Experience working with diverse individuals and communities.
Required Licenses and Certifications:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Supervisor Credentials (LCSW-S) in the State of Texas.
Preferred Education and
Experience:
Master's Degree in Social Work or related fields.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Five years or more of relevant experience working with patients with Psychiatric disorders preferred.
Preferred Licenses and Certifications:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Supervisor Credentials (LCSW-S) in the State of Texas.
Responsibilities:
Evaluating and Consulting:
The incumbent will provide social work services for Department of Psychiatry.
These services to include detailed psychiatric evaluations incorporating a biopsychosocial history including risk assessment and recommendation for treatment; supervise delivery and deliver evidence based psychotherapy to patients using assessment tools to track patient progress and tailored intervention; assume and supervise responsibility for difficult and complex patients based on experience or area of expertise; provide specialty consultation to other health care staff.
Provides assistance with developing and modifying patient triage and intake and referral systems within the clinic.
Provides evaluation and therapy; assists in implementation and training evidence based treatment; provides evaluation and therapy; provides clinical supervision Program Planning and Studies:
The incumbent will document services and activities per department standards and assist with program evaluation activities to track and analyze utilization and effectiveness of services; provide interdisciplinary teaching and rounding; serve as a practicum instructor or preceptor for graduate or undergraduate social work students; conduct scholarly presentation to Social Work staff and participate in educational activities for staff, social work students and trainees of other disciplines; contribute to social work research projects by assisting in project management and analyzing data and presenting data; participate as a member of an inter- and intradisciplinary team, including problem solving, program planning, clinical care planning, and quality improvement; provide presentations and consultations to other civic organizations as assigned; participate in community activities which promote health care; assists with developing and starting workshops and continuing education seminars.
Care Team:
The incumbent will be the biopsychosocial expert in multidisciplinary care team.
Participate in community activities which promote health care.
Expert knowledge of community resources to coordinate transitions of care.
Performs other duties as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
