Responsibilities:
o Manages a full-time caseload o Responsible for the competent provision of legal services, from inception to trial, including; legal research, drafting motions, pleadings, orders, judgments, and status updates; and overseeing and analyzing discoveryo Develop & execute legal strategies and advise clients regarding their best legal interests, serving as a lead contact between the firm and the clientso Prepare for effective, weekly case file review meetings with the senior attorneyo Represent clients at mediation, deposition, trials, and hearingso Consult with & prep clients, experts, providers, attorneys, witnesses & other parties for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trialso Immediately report any concerns/threats of bar grievances/complaints to the ownero Ensure that your bar license is in good standing at all times and provide the owner and senior attorney timely documentation of CLE completiono Contemporaneously track and record time worked on matters in the firm CMS
Qualifications:
o Be licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with Texas Baro Demonstrated success as a family law attorney is a must!o Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbout Company:
