Product Support Specialist

iiX, a member of the Verisk Insurance Underwriting group at Verisk Analytics, is a nationwide provider of insurance underwriting and employment reports. The CV Services team includes CV-Exchange and CV-ALIR. CV-Exchange aggregates data from insurance to efficiently deliver lost payee notices to those with an insurable interest. CV-ALIR facilitates automobile liability insurance reporting to state DMV's in order to comply with mandatory liability insurance requirements.


This position will focus on supporting CV-ALIR insurance carrier customers and will become a specialist with the CV-ALIR product. Responsibilities will include pro-actively facilitating communication between customers, states, development, CV-ALIR team members and our corporate office. The Product Support Specialist will respond to customer inquiries for assistance in a timely and professional manner via phone, email or instant chat.


Responsibilities will also include assisting customers with using our software applications and training them on its functions and operations. The Specialist will not only log customer calls, but also provide advanced support from customer call to resolution. This position is also tasked with becoming knowledgeable of all our products and services for DMV reporting and other tasks as assigned.


The person will be required to become familiar with state laws impacting the product as well as research and stay abreast of any pending legislation. The position will also work closely with product support team members to resolve any implementation or production issues.


Minimum qualifications include:



  • 3+ years of call center / customer support experience with a strong customer focus and attention to detail

  • A college degree or equivalent work experience

  • MS Office, especially Excel.


Preferred qualifications include:



  • A history of increasing responsibilities within a customer support environment including extensive telephone/chat/email handling and an advanced CRM system (ie SalesForce.com).

  • Excellent problem solving, communication and presentation skills

  • Prior experience working with vehicle titles and P&C insurance

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
